I’m still trying to fix my wife’s computer. First I noticed the welcome display coming up in the upper left hand corner when she turned it on. Next, she spilled a soft drink on the keyboard which made some of the lower keys stick together. I feel this caused something to happen to Windows photo viewer because all the icons (mostly screenshots) for that changed. I gave her a nice clean keyboard but that didn’t correct the damage to the OS.
Okay, I’ve got this disc I bought on ebay. I never used it so I thought why not totally ruin her computer with it. Just kidding …… What’s the safest way to use this disc ? Note that it does say “Startup repair and system recovery” I thought someone else here might have one. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
