Is Microsoft bringing faster taskbar loading to Windows 11? – OnMSFT.com

The Windows 11 taskbar has received a ton of updates as well as features all geared toward enhancing its user experience. For instance, the recent animated taskbar that appeared for Windows Insiders who installed the Windows build 25179 and the new Taskbar overflow menu designed to make switching and launching apps easier when space on your screen might be limited.

And now, Microsoft is back at it yet again, this time attempting to make the Windows 11 taskbar load faster. As spotted by @PhantomofEarth on Twitter, after installing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25182 and enabling the 39751186 ID, your taskbar will apparently load faster than it did before as shown below.

To access this feature, you can use the 3rd party settings enabler tool ViveTool, although you run the risk of losing your data as you may experience bugs. Once you are done the taskbar apparently loads faster though the taskbar animation seems to be missing. PhantomofEarth also noticed that the feature only worked on the primary monitor, the taskbar loaded as it usually would on the rest of the monitors. Could this be an indication that Microsoft is working on making the Windows 11 taskbar load faster?
